The 'Seaside Summit' Business Event

Beachcomber, Cleethorpes

7pm until 11pm

E-Factor Business is delighted to announce the first ‘Seaside Summit’ for businesses based in the thriving resort of Cleethorpes. Designed to inform and educate but with a strong emphasis on the celebration of the independent business sector of Cleethorpes, we will be providing a welcome drink and food, in the form of a seafood platter, and end the night with a set from locally acclaimed kings of soul, The Rumble Band.

Our host for the night will be James Sinclair.

Having started out in business straight out of school as a self-employed children’s entertainer, James has a unique style of speaking, very at ease on a stage, his energy and passion for business oozes and excites the audience whilst engaging with every business owner in the room.

Along the way to building a £10million turnover business that employs over 350 staff - with over 20 sites in the UK including Marsh Farm, a 30 acre park attraction, he has produced a set of practical rules that apply to any aspiring entrepreneur from start up to multi-million pound operation, and he shares these willingly with his audience in a way that grips the audience from start to finish.

Unlock the perils of employing staff, work out what it is you need to be doing each day in the running of your business, how James’ failed limo business cost him £100k and provided the biggest lessons in life, and much more.

Also on the bill.....Jim Cregan of Jimmy's Ices Coffee.

Jim Cregan is far from intellectual, but he does believe that common sense is the key to running a business. After getting incredibly frustrated with working as a labourer, shifting bricks in the Winter and hosting major UK festival stages dressed as a mermaid, Jim realised enough was enough and decided to have a life reset and head to Oz with his lady.

It was there he fell in love with Iced Coffee and returned home to start his own company. Jimmy’s Iced Coffee was formed in 2011 and with his sister as his business partner, a great deal of hard work and enthusiasm, they’ve built a pretty successful business in the UK.

Expect a jargon free journey that is as real and humorous as it gets.

Not fashion queen, Mel Tillett.

Mel started Tilletts in 2006, developing it into a successful family business whose ethos is ‘Real Clothes for Real Women’. From their humble beginnings in Seaview Street, Tilletts have gone from strength to strength following the decision to branch out online and now deliver the ‘Tilletts Experience’ to a huge following that stretches as far as Australia and the USA.

Bigging up business in Cleethorpes, Mel, a great ambassador for the local area and a highly successful entrepreneur in her own right, will be telling us all about her journey through the tricky world of retail and how she believes Cleethorpes is on the cusp of something great!

To the end the night... blowing your socks off, the Rumble Band.
